Multi-Age - Preschool (3’s) /PreK (4’s)

FLEXIBLE Options:
2 Days/Week:
Tuesday/Thursday
3 Days/Week:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday
4 Days/Week: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday OR Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
5 Days/Week:
Monday-Friday
All days will run from 8:15 to 11:15 a.m.

Children need to be at least 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2024.
This program is based on the philosophy that an age range of greater than one year in a classroom provides opportunities for the younger children to learn from older children, as well as enabling the older children to grow in their self-confidence and leadership skills. The curriculum approach in a multi-age classroom is achieved through differentiated instruction. Meaning, curriculum expectations for 3 year old learners focus on social/emotional development with exposure to pre-academic skills. For the four year old learner the expectations grow and are focused on the mastery of academic skills while continuing to foster social/emotional development. The goal for any four year old child is to ensure Kindergarten readiness.

Young 5’s - Transitional kindergarten

Monday through Friday – 8:15 to 11:15 a.m.
Children need to be at least 4 years old by September 1, 2024.
For both the four-year-old child and for the child who is turning 5 shortly after the cut off or has a summer birthday, this class will still challenge and prepare them for the next step, while giving them the all important year to grow and mature. Attending five mornings a week also allows for more exploration and practice of concepts taught.  Drop off will begin at 8 a.m. However, parents will be able to utilize the Before School Care program starting at 7:00 a.m. (separate charge) if needed. There will be a snack that will be provided by parents on a rotational basis and snack time milk may be purchased through the Trinity Hot Lunch program.

Half Day and Full Day Kindergarten

Full Day Hours:  8:15 - 3:15 p.m.
Half Day Hours: 8:15 - 12 pm

Children need to be five years old by September 1, 2024.
Our kindergarten programs take place in the same classroom. The children enrolled in ½ day kindergarten will leave at Noon when the full day children go to lunch. All academic subjects will take place in the morning; no new concepts will be introduced in the afternoon. However, those children who stay all day will have a chance to review and reinforce concepts after lunch; they will also enjoy recess and “rest and read” time. Field trips and special parties will also take place in the morning.

Enrichment Classes

Enrichment classes are specialized classes offered independently from any of our other programs.  Enrollment in enrichment classes is open to the public, as well as available to Trinity PreK and Kindergarten students.
The theme of our enrichment classes is STEAM - science, technology, engineering, art, and math.  Each day will encompass one or more STEAM areas.

These are 10 week programs, that meet for 2 hours. Students may attend one, two, or three days a week. 1/2 day students can choose to participate in Lunch Bunch for days they are enrolled in enrichment classes.

For more information on our Enrichment Classes, please email Laura Busse.

Lunch Bunch

Hours: 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Four and five year old students registered for our half day Pre K classes and ½ day kindergarten students are eligible to enroll in an optional “Lunch Bunch” program.

½ day Pre K - Lunch Bunch adds an additional 1 hour and 45 minutes to the regular school day. Children who stay for Lunch Bunch will have an opportunity to hear a story, participate in movement songs, eat lunch and participate in recess. These activities provide more time with friends in a social setting, while working on important self-help skills. They will also have the opportunity to use those gross motor muscles either on the playground or in the gym. Children enrolled in Lunch Bunch will need to bring their own healthy lunch with a drink from home. This opportunity costs: $15 per day. You may pick which days you want to attend, but we would ask that you would sign up for a month at a time. Lunch Bunch will not be offered each day of the week. Days will be determined at the beginning of the school year. There is limited space each day in Lunch Bunch, it is important to sign-up as soon as possible.

½ day Kindergarten students will also have the opportunity to extend their day until 1:00 p.m with Lunch Bunch. They will stay with their class, eat lunch and participate in recess. If they are signed up for one of our enrichment classes they will transition to that class at 1 p.m. Otherwise they will be picked up at that time. ½ day Kindergarten cost to extend their day until 1 p.m. will be $5.00 per day. *The kindergarten students will stay with their classes and teachers and because no extra personnel is being hired the cost per day is $5.00.

Lunch Bunch & Enrichment – 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Lunch Bunch) 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (Enrichment)
Our ½ day Pre K students have the opportunity to participate in two different programs the same day. Our Lunch Bunch program which is described above and one (or more) of our Enrichment classes. Trinity offers Enrichment classes focused on Music, Art, Spanish and STEM. These are 10 week programs, that meet for 2 hours, once a week during the school semester. The cost of Enrichment is presently $100 for a 10 week session for Art, Spanish and STEM. More information on specific days will be shared at a later date. If your child would participate in Lunch Bunch and one of the Enrichment classes the cost of Lunch Bunch would be $10 per day that both opportunities would be utilized.
