LIFETIME CHRISTIAN DISCIPLES
Jesus called His disciples to "Go!" and be His mouth, hands, and feet. At Trinity Lutheran we strive to develop Christian relationships within our doors (daily Bible study, Chapel, and Family Groups), our community (field trips of service and education), and our world (Chapel offerings and service of missions and outreach). We are always seeking opportunities to live out our faith in Jesus.
Family Groups
Developing Christian community is important to us, as well as having students know and care for one another. Our family groups are small groups composed of one student from each grade level who meet together twice a month. In these meetings, they may worship and pray together, play together, or serve together. Family groups give students the chance to live out JOY--loving Jesus and Others before Yourself.
Chapel Partners
Chapel partners give our students the opportunity to worship and work together with a designated partner in the school. Our older students have the chance to practice leadership and care for younger students, while our younger students have a chance to see care for others modeled, and have a relationship with a "big kid" in the school.
SERVICE
Trinity believes that one way we show love to God is in service to others. Many service opportunities are offered to our students to encourage and practice service. These range from school-wide service projects, to opportunities for daily service, such as our early childhood lunch-buddy programs; from classroom service projects to our confirmation service hours program.
CHAPEL
Worship is a part of living our faith. Trinity offers a weekly chapel service open to the public. Our students lead different aspects of each service including message, prayers, litany, and music. These chapel services provide an opportunity for our students, families, and community members to come together as a unified faith community, where we experience God's love for us in Jesus.
