Mrs. Julie Hoffmann

Position:  Junior High Language Arts

Mrs. Hoffmann has been at Trinity since August 2001. She was raised in Elmhurst, IL, and graduated from Concordia University Chicago with a BA in Secondary Education in 1998. She and her husband, Shawn, have the joy of serving together at Trinity.  They are blessed with four wonderful children.

Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Mrs. Christy Malinowski

Mrs. Christy Malinowski

Position: Religion Teacher

Christy has a real heart for youth and enjoys helping them use their God given gifts and talents in service to Him.  She serves the Jr. and Sr. High Youth at Trinity, along with their families.  Christy also loves to go on mission trips where she can use her gift of serving in a variety of ways.

Christy is married to her handsome husband, Jeff, and together they have three wonderful children; Kristin, Chad and Claire.

Christy enjoys being silly with youth, reading, scrapbooking and watching her daughter, Claire, compete at swim meets.

Romans 8:37-39
"In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Pastor Chuck Bahn

Pastor Chuck Bahn

Position: Associate Pastor and Religion Teacher

Pastor Bahn loves to teach and to be with people to talk about faith and God working in our lives, even in the times we struggle.

Pastor Bahn is married to his wonderful wife, Kathy.  They have three amazing children, Jeremy, Katie, and Rachel.

Pastor Bahn likes to read all kinds of different things.  He enjoys walking and riding bikes.  He also enjoys food of every size, shape, and background, as long as it's not "weird" food.

Isaiah 43:1
"But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;  I have summoned you by name; you are mine."

Mr. Kurt Busse

Mr. Kurt Busse

Position:  Athletic Director & Junior High Math

Mr. Busse has been at Trinity since August of 1995.  He was raised near Ft. Wayne, IN, attended Lutheran schools there (Wyneken, then Concordia H.S.) before attending Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska where he received his BS in Education.  In 1990 he completed his Masters in Administration at Concordia University, River Forest (Chicago).  He and his wife, Laura, have two grown children and have enjoyed serving together at Trinity.  Sola Deo Gloria.

Mr. Dan Bell

Mr. Dan Bell

Position:  Junior High Social Studies & PE

Mr. Bell graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in December of 2008. He began teaching here at TLS in August of 2009. In addition to teaching, Mr. Bell helps coach Varsity Boys Basketball, and is the Golf Coach. He has a loving wife Leslie, a daughter Cameron and a son Peyton.

Ms. Jenna Stevenson

Ms. Jenna Stevenson

Position:  Junior High Language Arts

Jenna has been teaching since 2020 and started teaching at Trinity in 2022. Jenna loves teaching at her old school with her former teachers as well as helping coach the girls' basketball team with her dad, Tod Stevenson. She is thrilled she gets to work at a school where she can spread the love of Jesus to her students. She loves spending time with her son, T.J., going to the pool, and playing video games together. Jenna is also a big fan of anything Marvel, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, etc.

“Consider it PURE JOY whenever you face trials of any kinds because you know the testing of your faith develops perseverance.”
